ServiceNow Platform Engineer - Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a ServiceNow Platform Engineer for a contract to hire position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Easton, OH, Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA. This is a 3+ month contract to hire opportunity. Compensation: $76.00 - $86.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: This role provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. The ideal candidate will analyze, design, and develop systems based upon user specifications, leveraging an in-depth knowledge of the technical tools available for systems development and support. Key Responsibilities: Manage and resolve issues against ServiceNow applications Advise internal teams and lines of business regarding process and technology inefficiencies within the platform Perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/remediation Maintain and improve the overall stability of the platform ensuring best practices are identified and incorporated into the platform Experience with ServiceNow best practices and understand the best solutions to remediate technical debt in the Now platform Manage Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and associated relationships, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) Provide training and knowledge across the platform to our internal team and external business partners Develop reporting strategy and maintenance plan for platform wide reporting Strong knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) Primary Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in application development plan, ITSM and ServiceNow Desired Skills: Configuration and modification of the ServiceNow platform in the following areas: IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Intelligent Apps, HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM) Familiarity with the User Experience Tools, Service Intelligence, and Service Experiences Knowledge and Experience working with Web Services, REST, JSONv2 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
