FP&A Manager - CA || Retail/D2C

This is not a traditional reporting-focused finance role. The person will work closely with the founders and leadership team and take ownership of financial planning, business analytics, cash management, MIS, financial modelling.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building from scratch, is commercially minded, understands how businesses make and manage money, and can turn financial data into actionable business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Own the annual operating plan, budgets, forecasts and rolling financial plans.
Partner with business teams to build and maintain detailed financial models covering revenue, costs, profitability, cash flows and business scenarios.
Help build and shape the financial infrastructure as the company scales.
Track actuals vs. budget/forecast and identify key business drivers and variances.
Build robust MIS and management dashboards for founders and leadership.
Analyse revenue, margins, working capital, cash flows, customer/channel economics and other key business metrics.
Identify trends, risks and opportunities and proactively flag them to the leadership team.
What We Are Looking For
CA / CA-qualified / strong finance professional from a high-growth business environment.
4–6 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, business finance.
Strong financial modelling and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital.
Experience with MIS, business analytics and management reporting.
Exposure to fundraising, investor reporting or working directly with founders is highly preferred.
Experience with e-commerce / quick-commerce / marketplace businesses is a strong advantage.
Comfortable working with large datasets and converting them into actionable business insights.
Strong commercial understanding — someone who thinks beyond accounting and understands how money moves through a business.
Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with limited structure.
