We are seeking an experienced U.S.-licensed Immigration Attorney with a strong focus on employment-based immigration to join our growing international team on a remote, contract basis.
The Role
The attorney will be responsible for the legal analysis, strategic development, and review of employment-based immigration cases, working closely with our case management and client experience teams.
Key responsibilities include:
* Analyze and develop legal strategies for EB-1, EB-2 NIW, EB-3, and other employment-based immigration matters.
* Evaluate client profiles and determine appropriate immigration pathways based on applicable U.S. immigration law.
* Draft and review petitions, legal arguments, support letters, legal opinions, and other case-related documentation.
* Review case strategies and supporting evidence for legal sufficiency, consistency, and compliance.
* Provide strategic guidance to clients and internal teams throughout the immigration process.
* Review complex cases and identify potential legal issues, risks, and opportunities.
* Stay current on USCIS regulations, policy updates, precedent decisions, and developments affecting employment-based immigration.
* Collaborate with case managers and other professionals to ensure a high standard of legal quality and client experience.
Ideal Profile
* Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
* Demonstrated experience in U.S. employment-based immigration, with a significant portion of practice dedicated to EB cases.
* Strong experience with EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 NIW, and/or EB-3.
* Solid understanding of USCIS procedures, petition strategy, and evidentiary requirements.
* Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to translate complex immigration law into clear and practical guidance.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple sophisticated cases and deadlines.
* Comfortable working independently within a remote, international environment.
* Experience with other employment-based categories such as O-1, L-1, E-2, or EB-5 is a plus.
* Experience working with international clients and multicultural teams is highly valued.
