Role Description This full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role is based in Ahmedabad. The Junior Interior Designer will support senior designers in developing interior concepts, preparing layouts, and assisting with space planning for ongoing projects. Daily responsibilities include creating and updating design drawings, coordinating with vendors and contractors, preparing material and FF&E selections, and helping maintain project documentation. The role involves site visits, measuring spaces, verifying construction progress, and ensuring design details are implemented as planned. The Junior Interior Designer will collaborate closely with project managers and the design team to deliver projects on time and within quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into functional spaces.
Proficiency in Space Planning, including furniture layouts and circulation planning aligned with project requirements.
Experience or training in Construction Drawings, including detailed floor plans, elevations, and sections for execution on site.
Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), including selection, specification, and coordination with vendors.
Relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field (diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred).
Working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools, and basic MS Office skills.
Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to follow design guidelines and brand standards.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Willingness to visit project sites regularly and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
