Role Description The Senior Network Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jodhpur. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related hardware and software. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving complex network issues, optimizing configurations, and ensuring high availability and reliability of services. The Senior Network Engineer will develop and review network architecture, implement security policies, manage upgrades and migrations, and document network configurations and procedures. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and participating in planning and execution of network-related projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Network Engineering and Network Design skills to architect, deploy, and optimize complex network environments.
Candidates should possess solid Network Administration skills, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network devices and services.
Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, and configuration issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess comprehensive Network Security skills to implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and security best practices.
Relevant experience with enterprise networking technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, switching, Wi-Fi) and vendor platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, or similar.
Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in leading network projects and mentoring less experienced team members.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCNA, JNCIS) are advantageous.
