Role Description The Senior Travel Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role involves advising travelers on destinations, itineraries, and experiences tailored to their preferences, budgets, and timeframes. The Senior Travel Advisor will handle end-to-end travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, and activities, using Alike’s platform and partner systems. The role includes responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through timely, clear, and empathetic communication. The Senior Travel Advisor will collaborate with internal teams and travel content creators to align offerings with customer needs, optimize bookings, and provide feedback to improve services and traveler experiences.
Qualifications
Strong customer-facing capabilities, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills.
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain travel options and policies.
Demonstrated experience in Travel Arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and activities.
Background in Travel Agency operations or similar travel advisory environments.
Proven ability to manage multiple client requests, prioritize tasks, and work with attention to detail.
Comfort with digital tools, online booking platforms, and CRM or customer support systems.
Knowledge of domestic and international travel regulations, documentation, and industry best practices.
Prior experience in a senior advisory or supervisory travel role is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Ability to work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
