Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Sadar, responsible for guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting informational sessions, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and explaining academic programs, requirements, and campus resources clearly and accurately. The role involves evaluating applications in alignment with institutional guidelines, maintaining accurate records in admissions systems, and following up with leads to support enrollment goals. The Admissions Counselor collaborates with academic and administrative teams, participates in outreach events and school visits, and contributes to strategies that enhance the applicant experience and strengthen the university’s reputation.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for engaging with diverse prospective students and families.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, respectful, and solution-focused support throughout the admissions process.
Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to effectively present programs, address concerns, and support conversion from inquiry to enrollment.
Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience to understand academic pathways and guide applicants appropriately.
Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, business, communications, or a related field.
Additional beneficial skills include proficiency with CRM or admissions software, data entry and record-keeping accuracy, and basic computer literacy (e.g., MS Office, email, online forms).
Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and time-management abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work collaboratively and ethically in a team-oriented environment.
