Game Localization & LQA Specialist (Uzbek/Russian)

We are looking for a passionate Game Localization & LQA Specialist to join our Online Gaming Client's localization team for a high-profile, global FPS / Battle Royale game project. You will be responsible for MTPE (Machine Translation Post-Editing), in-game LQA testing, and cultural compliance for target markets.
Shift & Schedule
Work Mode: 9-hour rotational shifts covering 09:00–22:00, Uzbekistan Time (UTC+5)
Schedule: 5 days/week (including weekend rotations based on shift schedule)
Job Responsibilities
MTPE Editing & Quality Assurance: Polish and post-edit AI/machine-translated game content based on term banks and style guides. Correct semantic, logical, and grammatical errors to deliver natural, player-friendly local text.
In-Game LQA Testing: Conduct walkthrough checks on the test server. Identify and report text truncation, garbled characters, placeholder errors ({0}, %s), and UI layout overflows.
Cultural Compliance & Risk Control: Review game text for political, religious, legal, and cultural taboos in target regions to prevent market risks.
Linguistic Asset Maintenance: Continuously update and maintain term banks (TB), translation memories (TM), and Style Guides for the target language.
Job Requirements:
Must-have
Native Speaker of Uzbek, Russian
Professional English Proficiency: Strong reading and writing skills to seamlessly handle English source files and team communication.
Localization/Proofreading Background: Proven experience or academic background in translation, editing, linguistics, or localization.
Detail-Oriented & Code Protection: Strong awareness of grammar rules, punctuation standards, and placeholders/variables protection.
Schedule Flexibility: Able to work in rotational shifts (UTC+5) and strictly adhere to agile release deadlines.
Nice-to-have:
Gaming Background: Deep experience playing FPS / Battle Royale games (e.g., PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, COD Mobile) and familiar with local gaming terminology/slang.
Tool Proficiency: Familiar with MTPE workflows and CAT tools (e.g., memoQ, Trados, Phrase).
LQA Experience: Prior hands-on experience in game LQA or QA testing.
