Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Communication & Social Media Executive. The role involves developing and executing communication plans that align with ABODE School’s mission, values, and academic offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and managing social media content, and maintaining consistent brand messaging across all channels. The Executive will monitor engagement metrics, respond to online inquiries, and support school events with promotional materials and coverage. Collaboration with academic and administrative teams to gather stories, update stakeholders, and showcase campus activities will be a key part of the role.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Strategic Communications skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
Experience in Media Relations and Press Releases, including managing outreach and handling external communication.
Excellent Writing skills for social media posts, newsletters, website updates, and other school communications.
Proficiency with major social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and basic analytics.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
Ability to work collaboratively with educators and administrators, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Prior experience in an educational or child-focused environment is an advantage.
Comfort with on-site work in a dynamic school setting and readiness to support events and activities as needed.
