Role Description
The Freelance Video Editor will work on-site in Dhaka, Bangladesh in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with PhiOra’s creative and technical teams to produce video assets aligned with client growth initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw footage into polished videos, selecting and organizing clips, adding transitions, and synchronizing audio for use across digital campaigns, product explainers, training content, and documentation. The role involves applying color grading to ensure visual consistency, integrating motion graphics and basic graphic elements, and optimizing formats for various platforms. The Video Editor will also contribute to concept development, maintain organized project files, adhere to brand guidelines, and deliver projects within agreed timelines. Regular feedback loops with stakeholders and iterative revisions are expected to ensure high-quality, data-informed visual storytelling.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for creating polished, narrative-driven visual content.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual tone and style across projects.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics for dynamic animations, titles, and overlays that enhance storytelling.
Candidates should possess skills in Graphics for creating or adapting visual assets, layouts, and brand-aligned elements used in videos.
Relevant experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or equivalent) is highly beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret creative briefs, and capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, data-driven environment are important.
Prior experience in growth-focused or tech-driven companies, and familiarity with digital marketing or product-focused content, is a plus.
A portfolio demonstrating video editing and motion graphics work, along with proficiency in English and Bangla communication, will be advantageous.
