Sales Lead – India | Student Recruitment to New Zealand

Immigration Advisers New Zealand Ltd (IANZ) is hiring an experienced Sales Lead to take full ownership of student recruitment from India into New Zealand.
This is not a lead-generation role. This is an ownership role. You own the India pipeline end to end — enquiry, conversion, enrolment — and you are measured by results, not activity.
Ownership & Accountability
You own the entire India recruitment pipeline, start to finish. No handing off responsibility once a lead is generated — you are accountable for what happens to it all the way to enrolment.
You build, manage and grow our numbers from India, and you own the performance of that network.
You set the operating rhythm alongside our internal admissions and student visa lodgement team so leads move through the funnel without stalling.
You report on pipeline health, conversion and revenue on a fixed cadence, and you own the accuracy of that number.
Target-Oriented
You work against monthly and quarterly enrolment and revenue targets set with you and tracked directly.
You are comfortable being measured on outcomes — enrolments and revenue — not on enquiries generated or meetings held.
Where a sector or channel underperforms, you diagnose why and correct course. Reporting a shortfall is not enough; fixing it is the job.
Experience Required
This is an experienced-hand role. We are not looking for someone two or three years into their career, or someone with four to five years who has only worked under supervision. We need someone who has already run a recruitment pipeline of this kind and knows what good looks like without being told.
Demonstrated, verifiable experience recruiting Indian students for study abroad, ideally into New Zealand or a closely comparable destination market (Australia, US, Canada).
A track record you can point to: targets you were set, and targets you met.
You need to work with the understanding that we are a skilled, professional-focused organisation, not a fresh, student-focused one, but they are also part of it.
We are an entirely NZ-focused organisation, not a multi-destination organisation; we are the best at what we do, and we do it remotely.
Market and Industry Awareness
International student recruitment has changed. Digital and social channels now drive a significant share of enquiry volume, and a serious sales lead needs to understand this shift and embrace it.
You should be able to read where student demand is moving — by course, city and student profile — and adjust the India strategy accordingly, working with our marketing function rather than operating in isolation from it.
You understand current New Zealand immigration and international education settings well enough to have an informed, credible conversation with mature prospective students/skilled professionals.
