Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineering Professional role based in Mumbai. The role involves preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs and drawings, performing technical calculations, and supporting the development of infrastructure projects such as roads, buildings, and water systems. The Civil Engineering Professional will coordinate with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that work progresses according to specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with project planning, monitoring construction activities, supporting documentation and reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety guidelines. The role also requires effective communication within multidisciplinary teams and participation in client meetings as needed.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, perform design calculations, and apply relevant standards and codes.
Project Management skills to support planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and progress tracking across project phases.
Water Resource Management skills for projects involving drainage, water supply, stormwater, and related infrastructure.
Strong Communication skills, including clear technical writing, reporting, and effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
Proficiency with civil engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design or modeling software) and MS Office applications.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulatory requirements, and construction practices relevant to Mumbai and surrounding regions.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced project environment.
