Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Development Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Project Development Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of new and ongoing projects across the group’s automotive operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, monitoring progress, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. The role involves close collaboration with sales, service, logistics, and procurement teams to align project objectives with business goals, as well as regular reporting to leadership on status, risks, and outcomes. The Project Development Manager will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, implement best practices, and support strategic growth projects across the network.
Qualifications
Strong project management skills, including experience with Project Management tools, planning, and execution.
Experience in expediting functions, including work as an Expeditor and in Expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Knowledge of Inspection processes and quality control to maintain standards across project deliverables.
Proficiency in Logistics Management, including coordination of supply chain, vendor communication, and distribution planning.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Proven experience in project or operations management, preferably in automotive, manufacturing, or related industries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Comfort with data-driven decision-making and use of project tracking and reporting tools.
Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
