Role Description The Mental Health Therapist is a full-time remote role responsible for providing evidence-based counseling and psychotherapy to clients via secure online sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing and updating individualized treatment plans, and delivering ongoing therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families. The therapist will monitor client progress, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, and collaborate with other providers or support services when appropriate. Additional responsibilities may include participating in case consultations, contributing to wellness programs for organizations and universities, and staying current with best practices in mental health care and digital therapy delivery.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Mental Health, including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Strong skills in Treatment Planning, with the ability to design, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.
Background in Social Work and Case Management, including coordination of services and connecting clients with appropriate resources.
Experience in Family Therapy, couples counseling, or working with diverse family systems.
Relevant professional license or certification (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPC, Psychologist) in good standing, as required by local regulations.
Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
Comfort and proficiency in providing therapy via telehealth platforms and using digital tools for client engagement.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage a caseload, and maintain reliable internet connectivity.
Experience with multicultural populations, trauma-informed care, or workplace/organizational counseling is beneficial.
