Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assembly Shop Executive role based in Nashik. The Assembly Shop Executive oversees daily assembly operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling assembly activities, monitoring line performance, and coordinating with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime. The role involves supervising shop floor personnel, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, safety, and 5S. The Executive also participates in root cause analysis for defects, maintains production records, and supports audits and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Ability to manage assembly operations, including line balancing, production planning, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of automotive components, assembly processes, and basic manufacturing technologies relevant to automotive production.
Experience with quality systems, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement tools (e.g., lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze production issues, support root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Effective communication and supervisory skills to guide shop floor teams, provide clear instructions, and support training needs.
Proficiency in using production documentation, basic MS Office, and ERP or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering or a related field, with prior experience in assembly or automotive manufacturing preferred.
