Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role supports day-to-day operations by coordinating logistics activities, monitoring service delivery, and ensuring adherence to company processes and quality standards. The Assistant Manager collaborates with internal teams and external partners to manage shipments, warehousing operations, and customer requirements while maintaining accurate documentation and reports. Responsibilities include tracking performance metrics, identifying process improvements, assisting in issue resolution, and supporting compliance with safety, regulatory, and company guidelines. The role also involves guiding team members, contributing to training initiatives, and helping maintain strong customer relationships.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in logistics operations, supply chain coordination, and basic knowledge of freight forwarding or warehousing processes.
Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, reporting, and use of MS Office or relevant logistics management systems.
Candidates should possess skills in communication, stakeholder management, and customer service for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Candidates should possess skills in problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably in an on-site environment.
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a structured environment and adapt to technology-driven processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
