Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Branch Collection Officer based in Kolkata and suburbans. The Branch Collection Officer will be responsible for managing collections from customers, ensuring timely repayments, and maintaining accurate records of payment status. The role includes visiting customers, discussing outstanding dues, negotiating repayment plans in line with company policies, and resolving queries or concerns related to loans. The Branch Collection Officer will coordinate with branch staff and the credit team to monitor portfolio performance, reduce delinquencies, and escalate issues when needed. The role also involves adherence to regulatory and company guidelines, maintaining professionalism in customer interactions, and supporting overall branch collection targets.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Debt Collection skills, including follow-up, negotiation, and repayment monitoring.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess repayment behavior, identify risk patterns, and interpret collection reports.
Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to manage customer relationships respectfully and handle complaints effectively.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for in-person discussions, phone calls, and documentation.
Candidates should possess basic Finance knowledge related to loans, interest, EMI structures, and NBFC processes.
Prior experience in collections, retail lending, or NBFC/banking operations is preferred.
Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; additional certifications in finance or banking are an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Prayagraj, travel locally as required, and meet branch collection targets.
