Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hialeah, FL. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including administering employee benefits, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with the implementation of HR policies and procedures. The Human Resources Specialist will help manage onboarding and offboarding processes, support recruitment and hiring activities, and respond to employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters. Daily tasks include updating HR documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, coordinating with managers on performance and personnel issues, and maintaining accurate HR data in relevant systems. The role involves frequent interaction with employees and leadership to promote a positive, compliant, and well-organized workplace.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) practices and HR Management to support day-to-day HR operations.
Knowledge of HR Policies and compliance requirements to help maintain consistent, legally sound HR procedures.
Experience with Employee Benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee communications.
Skills in Personnel Management, including recordkeeping, onboarding, and employee life-cycle support.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
Proficiency with HRIS or HR-related software and standard office applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in an HR support or generalist role is preferred; familiarity with local, state, and federal employment laws is beneficial.
