Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based at the iVENUS Apple Premium Partner store in Rewa. The Cashier will handle point-of-sale transactions, including billing, processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing cash and digital payment records accurately. The role involves assisting customers at the checkout, answering basic product and pricing queries, and ensuring a smooth, friendly, and efficient checkout experience. The Cashier will reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts, follow established financial and security procedures, and coordinate with the store team on daily sales reporting. The role also includes maintaining cleanliness and organization at the billing counter and supporting other store operations as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong numerical accuracy and basic accounting skills, including cash handling, reconciliation, and attention to detail in transactions.
Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills, including polite interaction, active listening, and the ability to explain prices, offers, and billing details clearly.
Candidates should possess familiarity with point-of-sale systems and digital payment platforms, including card terminals, UPI or wallet payments, and basic computer operation.
Candidates should possess time management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage queues efficiently and maintain an orderly billing counter.
Relevant qualifications such as a high school diploma or equivalent, prior experience in retail or cashier roles, and comfort working in a fast-paced store environment are beneficial.
Additional beneficial skills include integrity and reliability, willingness to learn Apple product basics, and the ability to work flexible store hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
