Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Legal Associate role based in Panaji. The Legal Associate will review, draft, and manage legal documents and contracts related to property development, sales, and leasing. Responsibilities include conducting legal research on real estate regulations, assessing potential legal risks, and advising internal teams on compliance with applicable laws. The role involves coordinating with external legal partners, supporting due diligence activities, and ensuring accurate documentation for transactions and approvals. The Legal Associate will also assist in resolving legal issues, maintaining organised legal records, and supporting management with legal perspectives on strategic decisions.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law and ability to interpret real estate and commercial regulations.
Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts and agreements.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for assessing legal risks, interpreting statutes, and supporting decision-making.
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, external counsel, and stakeholders.
Experience identifying and addressing Legal Issues related to property transactions and regulatory compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); enrollment with the Bar Council is preferred.
Prior experience in real estate, construction, or commercial law is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Panaji, manage multiple matters, and maintain attention to detail under deadlines.
