Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Food and Beverage Intern role based at Royal Orchid Hotels in Vijayawada. The intern will support daily food and beverage operations, including assisting with table setup, order taking, and service in restaurants, bars, and banquet areas. Responsibilities include coordinating with kitchen staff, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and replenishing supplies. The intern will interact with guests to respond to inquiries, provide menu information, and support a positive dining experience. The role also involves learning standard operating procedures, following safety and sanitation guidelines, and assisting supervisors with special events and promotions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations to support day-to-day restaurant and banquet activities.
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Candidates should possess basic Culinary Skills to understand menus, food preparation standards, and presentation requirements.
Relevant academic background in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail, commitment to hygiene and safety standards, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Previous internship or entry-level experience in hotels, restaurants, or cafés is an advantage but not mandatory.
