Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Document Controller role based in India. The Document Controller will manage, organize, and maintain project and corporate documentation, ensuring that records are accurate, up to date, and easily retrievable. Daily responsibilities include receiving, reviewing, and registering documents, maintaining version control, and coordinating document distribution to internal teams and external partners. The role involves enforcing document control procedures and standards, tracking approvals, and archiving records in line with company and regulatory requirements. The Document Controller will collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, and administrative staff, while supporting audits and reporting related to documentation.
Qualifications
Strong document management skills, including organizing files, maintaining version control, and applying standardized naming and filing conventions.
Proficiency with document control software or electronic document management systems (EDMS), and solid MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing, registering, and tracking technical and commercial documents.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to follow structured processes, meet deadlines, and manage multiple document workflows simultaneously.
Relevant experience in document control or administrative support, preferably in engineering, construction, MEP, or industrial projects.
Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent in business administration, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with quality management standards and audit requirements related to documentation is an advantage.
