Role Description The Admissions Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Aurora Deemed University in Hyderabad. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end admissions process, including inquiry handling, application review, documentation verification, and coordination of entrance tests or interviews as applicable. The Admissions Manager will manage communication with prospective learners and families, provide guidance on programs and eligibility, and ensure a smooth, transparent, and timely admissions experience. Responsibilities include planning and executing outreach activities, such as school visits, information sessions, education fairs, and digital campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team. The role also requires maintaining accurate admissions data, preparing periodic reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory and university policies, and working closely with academic and administrative departments to meet enrollment targets.
Qualifications
Strong skills in admissions operations, including application processing, documentation management, and coordination of selection procedures.
Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with prospective learners, families, schools, and internal stakeholders.
Experience with data management, reporting, and the use of student information systems or CRM tools for tracking inquiries and conversions.
Ability to plan and execute outreach, counseling sessions, and information events in collaboration with marketing and academic teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Education, Administration, or a related field; prior experience in university or college admissions is highly preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and institutional guidelines.
Comfort with digital tools, online application platforms, and basic MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with higher education regulations and admission norms is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, collaborate in a team environment, and adapt to peak admissions cycles and extended hours when required.
