About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Software Engineer Digital Solutions to join our Digital Solutions team at WashTec. This full-time position, based at our headquarters in Augsburg, offers the opportunity to develop cutting-edge digital solutions aimed at enhancing the customer experience and operational efficiency for vehicle wash facilities. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring digital products from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification. Proven professional experience in agile software development as a full-stack developer is essential. Experience in mobile application development is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in modern software architectures and cloud technologies, including TypeScript, React, Node.js, REST APIs, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, SQL and NoSQL databases, and Docker. Additional familiarity with React Native, Firebase, ASP.NET Core, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Kubernetes is advantageous. Strong commitment to code quality, architecture stability, and sustainable development practices is required. Excellent communication skills in German and English, along with a collaborative mindset, complete the profile.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer Digital Solutions, your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing user-friendly applications that meet the needs of customers, operators, service technicians, and internal teams. You will create new features for mobile apps, cloud backends, and web portals, ensuring seamless integration of digital services through robust APIs. Your role involves designing scalable cloud applications and microservices, implementing automated tests, and managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery and deployment. You will oversee the operation, monitoring, and ongoing optimization of applications, contributing to architectural decisions and integrating third-party systems and business applications. Adhering to DevSecOps and Security-by-Design principles will be integral to your work, alongside collaborating with various stakeholders such as business units, product management, UX specialists, and fellow developers to create innovative solutions that deliver real value.
