Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Web Developer role based in Bengaluru. The Web Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing company websites and web applications, ensuring they are secure, responsive, and user-friendly. Daily tasks include writing clean, efficient code, integrating front-end and back-end components, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and collaborating with design and marketing teams to implement new features and content. The role also involves monitoring site performance, implementing best practices for SEO and accessibility, and supporting digital initiatives that showcase Nerastech’s design-build solutions. The Web Developer will work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Qualifications
Strong front-end development skills (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design) to build and refine user interfaces.
Back-end development experience (e.g., PHP, Node.js, Python, or similar; working with APIs and databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with web frameworks or CMS platforms (e.g., React, Angular, Vue, WordPress, or comparable tools).
Understanding of web performance optimization, SEO fundamentals, and basic security best practices.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate non-technical requirements into technical solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in a similar web development role; exposure to industrial, engineering, or construction domains is an advantage.
