Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Trainee to join our Finance & Accounts team. The candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting activities, bookkeeping, reconciliations, documentation, and financial reporting while gaining practical exposure to accounting processes and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in recording day-to-day accounting transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, receipt, and payment entries.
• Assist in maintaining the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in preparation of invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and payment documentation.
• Verify supporting documents for accounting transactions.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Coordinate with internal teams for accounting-related information and documents.
• Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and on a timely basis.
• Perform other finance and accounting tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
Required Skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of Debit & Credit, Journal Entries, Ledger, Trial Balance, P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS will be an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with Tally, Zoho Books, CompuTax, KDK or similar accounting software is preferred.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Educational Qualification
• B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates pursuing relevant professional qualifications may also be considered.

• Timely completion of assigned accounting tasks.
• Accuracy and timeliness of bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Proper maintenance of accounting documentation.
• Timely support for GST/TDS and other compliance activities.

• Reduction of accounting errors and outstanding reconciliations.
