Email Marketing Paid Internship (Hong Kong)

babybub is an 8-figure maternity brand, and we're handing our email channel to one person to rebuild from scratch.
This isn't a coffee-run internship, and it isn't about making our current emails look nicer. You'll learn email marketing properly, take our Klaviyo account apart, and decide what babybub's email should be. You'll make some bold calls and test them.
You'll report directly to Albert, our co-founder and CMO, who runs paid, creative, CRO and now email. He'll coach you, but he won't do it for you.
What you'll do
Go deep on email: study how the fastest-growing brands handle flows, design and copy, and use AI to learn quickly
Audit our Klaviyo account, flows, list and numbers, and work out what's really going on
Rebuild our email strategy around our customer, whose needs change every trimester, then test what works
Move one number: email revenue as a share of total revenue. Your bonus is tied to it.
You'll use AI all day, but you have to think for yourself
AI can teach you Klaviyo in an afternoon, but it doesn't know our customer. If it suggests countdown timers to someone who's 8 weeks pregnant and browsing at 2am, we want you to notice that, push back and give it the missing context.
You don't need a specific background
A degree in any subject is fine, as long as you've worked through something hard and formed your own opinions
No degree is fine too, if you've taught yourself harder things and can show us
Experience with email, ads, content or your own store helps a lot, but it isn't required
You'll do well here if you
Go down rabbit holes and come out knowing more than people who've done it for years
Would rather try something and break it than wait for instructions
