Role Description
The Trainee Engineer will support the structural detailing and estimating processes, learning to prepare and review accurate rebar detailing, estimations, and BIM models. Responsibilities include assisting with project documentation, ensuring compliance with technical standards, performing calculations, and collaborating with the project team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Salem, offering hands-on training and mentorship to prepare the candidate for advanced responsibilities within the construction and engineering sector.
Qualifications
Fundamental knowledge in Rebar Detailing, Structural Engineering, CAD software, 3D modeling tools and Estimation processes
Basic understanding of technical drawings, international standards, and construction codes
Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Willingness to learn, adapt and grow in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree or diploma are considered to apply for this position
Prior internship or exposure to structural detailing is a plus
