Business Analyst

Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst will gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across PAAD’s focus sectors, translating them into clear specifications and process improvements. Daily activities include conducting data and market analysis, mapping and optimizing business processes, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting the design of solutions that address client needs. The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, facilitate meetings and workshops, and ensure that project outcomes align with strategic objectives and operational constraints. The role may also involve contributing to frameworks and methodologies that enhance PAAD’s analytical capabilities.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Proficiency in Business Analysis and defining Business Requirements.
Knowledge of Business Process modeling, optimization, and documentation.
Effective Communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and presentation abilities.
Experience working with remote, cross-functional teams in a consulting or project-based environment.
Familiarity with one or more of PAAD’s focus sectors (AI, finance, energy, infrastructure, defense, or space) is an advantage.
Ability to use standard business analysis tools (e.g., spreadsheets, visualization tools, requirements management software).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
