The organisation offers training, live workshops and podcasts designed to deepen understanding of business, marketing, and creative disciplines.
Role Description: The Corporate Trainer at OMS: Open Mind School is a contract role responsible for designing and delivering training programs for professionals. This hybrid role is based in India (depending on the client's location) and includes a mix of in-person sessions and remote work, including online workshops and virtual coaching. Day-to-day tasks include assessing training needs, creating structured curricula and learning materials, and facilitating live workshops and webinars. The Corporate Trainer will collaborate with internal teams to align training content, gather participant feedback, and refine programs to improve engagement and learning outcomes. The role also involves maintaining training documentation, tracking participant progress, and contributing ideas for new learning initiatives and content.
Qualifications
Strong skills in training design and delivery, including curriculum development, workshop facilitation, and instructional design for adult learners.
Experience using digital tools and platforms for online training, such as video conferencing software, learning management systems, and interactive presentation tools.
Ability to assess learning needs, conduct basic research, and translate complex concepts into clear, engaging training materials.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse professional backgrounds and experience levels.
Demonstrated organisational and time-management skills, including planning sessions, managing schedules, and documenting training outcomes.
Previous experience as a corporate trainer, learning and development specialist, coach, or educator is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Bengaluru, with flexibility to conduct in-person and remote sessions as needed.
