Role Description The Senior Financial Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accurate general ledger postings, and maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide detailed financial analysis to management to aid decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include managing financial reporting, reconciling accounts, working with accounting software, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting audits and tax-related activities. The role also involves identifying process improvements, strengthening internal controls, and guiding junior team members on best practices in finance and accounting.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
Solid foundation in Finance and accounting principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and ERP systems, and the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and present clear insights to stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably in manufacturing, retail, or apparel industries.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams on-site in Bengaluru.
High level of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and improving processes.
