🔹 Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and maintain APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
Implement APIM policies for authentication, authorization, rate limiting, throttling, caching, routing, and transformations.
Design and manage RESTful APIs and enterprise integration solutions.
Configure API products, subscriptions, versions, revisions, and developer access.
Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, certificates, subscription keys, and related authentication mechanisms.
Integrate APIM with Azure services and backend applications.
Troubleshoot API performance, connectivity, authentication, and integration issues.
Monitor APIs and identify opportunities for performance and reliability improvements.
Work closely with architects, developers, DevOps, security, and application teams.
Support API deployments and CI/CD processes across multiple environments.
🔹 Required Skills
8–10 years of overall IT/software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure API Management (APIM).
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and API lifecycle management.
Experience implementing APIM policies and API security.
Good knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, and certificate-based authentication.
Experience with Azure integration and cloud services.
Understanding of API monitoring, logging, error handling, and troubleshooting.
Experience working with CI/CD and Azure DevOps is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
