Role Description The International Student Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This position involves providing personalized counseling to learners on study abroad options, including course selection, university choice, and country-specific requirements. The advisor will guide individuals through application and admission processes, assist with documentation, and coordinate with international institutions as needed. Daily tasks include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, responding to inquiries via email, phone, and in-person meetings, maintaining accurate records of student interactions, and preparing informational materials or presentations on international education pathways. The advisor will also collaborate with team members to support outreach activities, information sessions, and events, while ensuring that guidance is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with institutional and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Experience working with international students and awareness of their unique academic and cultural needs.
Strong student counseling skills, with the ability to provide clear, empathetic, and objective guidance.
Excellent communication skills, including fluent spoken and written English and confident presentation abilities.
Understanding of international education systems, admissions processes, and global study destinations.
Proficiency in basic office software and comfort with digital communication tools; additional language skills are an advantage.
