Social Media Manager And YouTube Video Editing Expert

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Manager and YouTube Video Editing Expert. The role involves planning and executing social media strategies across platforms, including content calendars, campaign concepts, and community engagement for the trauma centre’s official channels. The individual will manage day-to-day posting, monitor performance metrics, respond to audience interactions, and ensure consistent, professional representation of the centre. A key responsibility is producing and editing YouTube videos, including assembling footage, adding graphics and captions, optimizing thumbnails and titles, and aligning content with institutional guidelines. The role also includes coordinating with internal stakeholders for accurate medical and organizational information, staying updated on platform best practices, and providing regular performance reports with recommendations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), including managing profiles, campaigns, and analytics.
Strong skills in Content Strategy and Writing, with the ability to create clear, accurate, and engaging health-related content.
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with teams and interacting with online audiences.
Experience with YouTube video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent) and basic graphic design for thumbnails.
Knowledge of platform-specific best practices, SEO for YouTube, and audience growth techniques.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Prior experience managing social media or video content for healthcare, public sector, or nonprofit organizations is an advantage.
Relevant education in Marketing, Media Studies, Communications, Film, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven track record of successful youtube and social media accounts growth.
