Role Description The Site Engineer role at Keya Infracon is a full-time, on-site position based in Bilari. The Site Engineer oversees daily construction activities, ensuring work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with civil engineers, contractors, and site staff; monitoring progress; conducting inspections; and maintaining accurate records of materials, work completed, and site conditions. The role involves implementing quality control measures, resolving technical issues, supporting structural engineering requirements, and reporting project status to senior management. The Site Engineer also ensures compliance with local regulations and promotes a safe, organized work environment.
Qualifications
Strong on-site supervision skills with experience managing daily construction activities and coordinating with civil engineers.
Effective communication skills for working with project managers, contractors, and labor teams, and for preparing clear reports and documentation.
Knowledge of quality control practices, including inspection of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
Understanding of structural engineering concepts relevant to civil construction projects, including interpreting drawings and resolving technical issues.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Familiarity with safety regulations, construction codes, and basic project management principles.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use standard construction measurement tools.
Proficiency with MS Office and basic construction-related software is an advantage.
Prior experience in site engineering or civil construction projects is preferred.
