Role Description The Paint Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role involves designing and developing paint formulations for specific infrastructure and industrial applications, including surface preparation, coating performance, and durability requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting lab-scale experiments, evaluating raw materials, performing quality and performance tests, and documenting test results and formulation changes.
Qualifications
Strong Research and Development (R&D) skills, including experimental design, data analysis, and formulation optimization.
Experience with Testing methods, including mechanical, chemical, and environmental tests for paints and coatings.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
Knowledge of paint and coating technologies, surface preparation, and industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO) is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and safety practices.
Ability to collaborate with production, quality, and project teams and communicate technical findings clearly.
