Role Description This is a contract, on-site Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Data Analyst Engineer role based in Mumbai. The role involves collecting, validating, and analyzing HSE data from operations, projects, and site activities to support compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The person in this position will prepare regular HSE performance dashboards, reports, and trend analyses, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and site HSE teams to interpret findings and recommend corrective or preventive actions. Responsibilities include maintaining HSE data systems, ensuring data quality and consistency, and supporting audits and regulatory reporting requirements. The role also contributes to developing and refining HSE metrics, supporting safety campaigns, and providing data-driven insights to strengthen Apraava’s safety culture and environmental performance.
Qualifications
Strong data analysis skills, including experience with spreadsheets, databases, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to the energy or infrastructure sector.
Ability to collect, validate, and interpret technical and operational data, with attention to detail and data integrity.
Experience preparing HSE reports, dashboards, and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and site personnel.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., environmental, industrial, mechanical, electrical) or a related technical discipline; HSE certifications are an advantage.
Experience in power, renewables, or utility projects is preferred, along with familiarity with audit processes and regulatory reporting.
Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to a strong safety and compliance culture.
