Role Description The Ayurveda Panchakarma Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The specialist will plan, prepare, and administer Panchakarma and related Ayurvedic therapies according to established protocols and individual treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include assessing guest needs, supporting consulting Ayurvedic physicians, maintaining treatment rooms and equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and documentation standards. The role involves explaining procedures to guests, monitoring their responses during and after therapies, and coordinating with the wellness team to provide a seamless retreat experience. The specialist will also help educate guests on follow-up care, diet, and lifestyle recommendations consistent with Ayurvedic principles.
Qualifications
Formal training in Ayurveda (e.g., BAMS or recognized Ayurvedic certification) with specific experience in Panchakarma therapies.
Strong practical skills in administering common Panchakarma procedures and related Ayurvedic treatments safely and effectively.
Knowledge of Ayurvedic anatomy, diagnosis principles, dosha-based treatment planning, and basic diet and lifestyle recommendations.
Ability to maintain detailed treatment records, follow clinical protocols, and collaborate with Ayurvedic physicians and wellness staff.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a calm and empathetic approach to guest care.
Commitment to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism in a retreat or clinical environment.
Prior experience in Ayurvedic hospitals, clinics, or wellness retreats in a Panchakarma-focused role is highly beneficial.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support guest schedules and retreat programs.
