Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Backend Developer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of our core web applications and services.
In this role, you will anchor our backend engineering—designing high-throughput APIs, managing robust databases, and securing cloud infrastructure—while collaborating on modern front-end integration. You will also drive engineering best practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members in an on-site, cross-functional team environment based in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications, microservices, and secure APIs.
Database & Integration: Architect and optimize relational and non-relational databases, integrating third-party systems seamlessly.
Full-Stack Collaboration: Build and support responsive front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks and CSS.
Cloud & DevOps: Manage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
Leadership & Quality: Champion clean, testable code, drive technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and mentor fellow developers.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on backend and full-stack engineering, including prior senior or lead experience.
Backend Expertise: Mastery of at least one modern backend language/framework (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, .NET) and robust database management.
Frontend Skills: Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and CSS.
Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
Mindset: Strong system design skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and great communication skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
