Role Description The Spare Part Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spare parts department in a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This includes managing parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and coordinating ordering, receiving, and storage of service parts. The role involves working closely with the service team and front office to fulfill parts requirements, optimize availability, and prevent shortages or overstock. The Spare Part Manager will interact with customers and internal stakeholders to support timely repairs, maintain high customer satisfaction, and uphold dealership and manufacturer standards. The position also requires monitoring parts-related KPIs, maintaining documentation, and implementing process improvements for efficiency and cost control.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Management to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient parts handling.
Candidates should possess skills in Service Parts management, including ordering, storage, and distribution of parts for workshop and counter sales.
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to support positive interactions with service advisors, technicians, and vehicle owners.
Relevant experience in an automotive dealership or service center parts department is preferred.
Ability to use dealer management systems, inventory software, and basic MS Office tools effectively.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Diploma or degree in automotive, logistics, business, or a related field is beneficial.
Good communication skills in English and local languages, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
