Job Title: AutoCAD Designer – Exhibition & Event Stands
Job Type: Full-Time
Role Overview :-
We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Designer specializing in exhibition stands, tradeshow booths, and custom event structures. In this role, you will translate creative concepts and 3D renders into detailed, production-ready technical drawings, floor plans, and construction layouts for our fabrication and installation teams.
Vee Ventures provides comprehensive stand design and fabrication services, with over 12 years of global experience. We specialize in end-to-end execution for both international and domestic exhibitions.
With our presence across 25 countries, we are looking for an AutoCAD Designer who can work quickly and accurately, delivering precise, production-ready CAD drawings within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities :-
Technical Drafting: Prepare precise 2D/3D fabrication drawings, floor plans, elevations, section details, and structural layouts using AutoCAD.
Production Specifications: Material specifications, hardware callouts for joinery, metalwork, graphics, and lighting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with 3D visualizers, art directors, account managers, and workshop craftsmen to turn initial concepts into buildable structures.
Site Preparation: Draft electrical layouts, and rigging plans required by venue organizers and contractors.
Qualifications & Requirements :-
Experience: 6+ months of AutoCAD drafting (preferred within the exhibition, tradeshow booth, or event production industry.)
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); working knowledge of 3ds Max, SketchUp is a strong plus.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of exhibition materials (MDF, aluminum extrusion systems like Octanorm / beMatrix, acrylic, fabrics) and construction/joinery techniques.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional spatial awareness with high precision in dimensioning, scale, and tolerance.
