Senior Engineer

Role Description * Lead and support new product development activities from concept to production.
* Prepare, implement and monitor APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities
* Prepare and coordinate ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) and sample submission activities.
* Develop and review product designs, drawings, specifications and technical documents.
* Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and other cross-functional teams.
* Support prototype development, testing, validation and trial activities.
* Identify and resolve technical/product-related issues.
* Conduct design reviews and implement engineering improvements.
* Support cost reduction, process improvement and product optimization.
* Prepare and maintain development-related documents and reports.
* Coordinate with customers and suppliers on technical requirements.
* Ensure development activities meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
Qualifications
Strong engineering background in mechanical, automotive, chemical, or related disciplines with hands-on experience in product design and development.
Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD, simulation/analysis tools) and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, including knowledge of quality standards, safety regulations, and process optimization.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage complex technical projects and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, including experience working with cross-functional teams and mentoring less-experienced colleagues.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Chemical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
Prior experience in fuel systems, energy technologies, or automotive components is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Tamil Nadu, India and adapt to a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
