Role Summary
Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud (LS Cloud) implementation programs. Translate business objectives into a target architecture spanning LS Cloud, Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce — along with integrations, data, analytics, and security. Serve as the technical authority across the engagement and the primary architect-facing interface with US client architecture teams. Complement the Vault CRM Solution Architects, enabling the practice to credibly pursue both Vault CRM and LS Cloud opportunities and support hybrid accounts (e.g., Vault for commercial + LS Cloud for patient/medical).
Key Responsibilities
• Lead solution discovery, current-state assessment, and target-state architecture design on the Salesforce platform for Life Sciences
• Design the LS Cloud / Health Cloud data model (HCP, HCO, Affiliation, Care Program, Patient), security model, and sharing strategy
• Define integration architecture using MuleSoft, platform events, and Salesforce connectors to Veeva Network, SAP, data warehouses, and MDM
• Architect Agentforce agent design for commercial and medical use cases (pre-call, next-best-action, MedComms triage)
• Produce architecture artifacts: HLD, LLD, integration architecture, data flow diagrams, NFR specifications
• Guide Technical Leads and developers on Salesforce design patterns; enforce governor-limit-aware design and resolve technical escalations
• Lead architecture review boards; ensure adherence to Salesforce Well-Architected and LS Cloud best practices
• Drive reusability — build accelerators, reference architectures, and LS Cloud solution patterns for the practice
• Support pre-sales: solution shaping, effort estimation, RFP responses, and client presentations
Must-Have Skills & Experience
• Deep expertise in Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL) and at least one industry cloud — LS Cloud, Health Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud
• Hands-on architecture experience on Life Sciences programs covering HCP engagement, call planning, MedComms, or patient services
• Experience architecting integrations using MuleSoft, Salesforce Data Cloud, and platform events
• Ability to design for scale, performance, and compliance (21 CFR Part 11, GxP, HIPAA, GDPR)
• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification (CTA preferred for senior-level candidates)
• Excellent communication skills — able to present architecture to CIO/CTO-level US client audiences
Nice-to-Have
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
• Hands-on Agentforce delivery experience (with live client deployments, not just demos)
• Prior Veeva CRM or Vault CRM exposure — useful for hybrid account conversations and competitive positioning
• Exposure to Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) tooling relevant to LS Cloud
