Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for International Business Development. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities in international markets, focusing on key regions such as Africa, LATAM, Central America, Southeast Asia, GCC, MEENA, and CIS. The team member will manage and grow relationships with distributors, partners, and regulatory stakeholders, and support product registrations and tenders. Daily activities include market research, pricing and margin analysis, preparing proposals, coordinating with internal teams for supply and documentation, and tracking sales performance against targets. The role also requires participation in international calls, meetings, and trade events, and regular reporting on market trends, competitor activity, and business performance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong International Business and International Trade skills, with experience in global pharmaceutical or healthcare markets preferred.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for market research, sales data interpretation, pricing analysis, and forecasting.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with global partners, preparing presentations, and handling negotiations.
Candidates should possess sound Business skills, including commercial acumen, relationship management, and an understanding of export operations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, International Trade, Pharmacy, or a related field is beneficial.
Prior experience in international business development, export sales, or regulatory coordination in pharmaceuticals is an advantage.
Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills relevant to target markets are an asset.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
