About the Role
You will own quality across client web projects, including a multi-tenant enterprise SaaS platform with live paying customers that is currently being rebuilt. Your job is to make sure the new version doesn't break what already works for existing customers, and that nothing ships without someone having genuinely tried to break it.
What You'll Do
Own the test plan for every release: manual regression plus automated suites
Build and maintain end-to-end tests in Playwright or Cypress
Test APIs directly using Postman, not just through the UI
Test multi-tenant and permission scenarios — the same feature across different user roles and different customer accounts
Verify data in the database using SQL when the UI isn't enough
Log clear, reproducible bugs with steps, expected vs. actual, and evidence
Own the release checklist and sign off before anything goes to production
Test AI-driven features where output isn't always the same on every run
Must-Haves
Manual testing fundamentals: test cases, regression suites, bug reporting
Hands-on automation with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
API testing and comfort reading JSON responses
Basic SQL for data verification
Ability to work directly with developers instead of throwing bugs over a wall
1+ years of experience with manual testing
Good to Have
Experience testing SaaS or multi-tenant products
Running tests in a CI pipeline on every merge
Cross-browser and responsive testing
Basic performance or load testing
How We Work
We use AI tools heavily across the team, including for generating test cases and test scripts. You're expected to use them and to catch what they get wrong.
