Role Overview
Duratuf is hiring a Talent Acquisition Consultant to run full-cycle recruitment for DPPL (India) — from opening a requisition with a hiring manager to closing the offer. You'll hire across both non-IT and IT roles, spanning our commercial, technical, manufacturing/sourcing and support functions, and will be the point person ensuring we bring in people who fit the role and DURIAN, our values framework.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment (sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, onboarding handoff) for open positions across IT and non-IT functions.
Partner with hiring managers to convert vague hiring asks into clear job descriptions, must-have criteria and realistic timelines.
Source candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter), referrals, campus channels and consultants — building a steady pipeline rather than reacting requisition by requisition.
Screen for both technical/functional fit and DURIAN alignment (Disciplined Execution, Us Before I, Result Oriented, Inclusive Collaboration, Always Innovating, Numbers that Matter).
Run structured interviews and coordinate panel evaluations; for Middle and Senior tier seats, apply the WHO Hiring framework.
Maintain candidate data and hiring status in Zoho Recruit; keep req trackers, offer trackers and TAT (time-to-close) reporting current.
Manage offer negotiation within approved bands and coordinate joining formalities.
Track hiring metrics (TAT, offer-to-join ratio, source-wise effectiveness) and flag bottlenecks to the reporting manager.
Support employer branding efforts — job postings, campus outreach, referral drives.
Requirements:
2–5 years of experience in talent acquisition/recruitment, in-house or agency.
Demonstrated track record of hiring for non-IT/business roles — experience hiring for IT roles will be an added advantage.
Hands-on experience with an ATS (Zoho Recruit preferred) and sourcing platforms aka job boards (Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter).
Comfortable owning 3–5 open reqs at a time across functions, with regular stakeholder updates.
Strong screening and interviewing skills — able to assess both role-fit and values-fit.
Clear written and verbal communication in English (Hindi/Bengali a plus, given our Kolkata base).
Skills & Competencies:
Stakeholder management — able to push back on hiring managers with data (TAT, market availability) rather than just executing requests.
Sourcing creativity across both technical and generalist roles.
Structured interviewing and candidate evaluation.
Data discipline — keeps the ATS and trackers current without being chased.
Bias for closing — treats time-to-fill as a number that matters, not a vanity metric.
Good to Have (Desired/Preferred but not a dealbreaker for anyone who doesn't meet the below requirements)
Prior recruitment experience in a manufacturing, industrial products or export-oriented company.
Exposure to hiring across multiple business functions (not just one department) in a single organisation.
Familiarity with Zoho One (Recruit, People) or similar HRMS/ATS suites.
