ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will assist in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to generate meaningful business insights. You will gain practical exposure to Excel, SQL, Python, data visualization, dashboards, reporting, data cleaning, and analytical workflows.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in collecting and organizing data from different sources.
• Clean, transform, and validate datasets to improve data quality.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and relationships.
• Use Excel, SQL, and Python to analyze and manipulate data.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights.
• Assist in preparing regular and ad-hoc analytical reports.
• Identify data inconsistencies and assist in resolving data-quality issues.
• Analyze business data to support data-driven decision-making.
• Track key metrics and performance indicators as required by projects.
• Present findings and insights in a clear and understandable manner.
• Maintain documentation of analysis processes, reports, and project findings.
• Collaborate with team members to understand business and project requirements.
• Use Git/GitHub when required for analytical projects and collaboration.
• Participate in project reviews and implement feedback.
ELIGIBILITY

• Strong interest in data analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making.
• Willingness to learn, analyze data, and work on practical projects.
• Basic numerical, analytical, and logical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and implement feedback.
• Availability for a three-month, full-time remote internship.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of data cleaning and data analysis concepts.
• Familiarity with Python and libraries such as Pandas and NumPy is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of data visualization using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Matplotlib, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Understanding of basic statistics and analytical concepts.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with datasets.
• Clear communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn new data analytics tools and technologies.
