Architect & Project Manager (Residential & Planning)

Role Description The Architect & Project Manager (Residential & Planning) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role involves leading the design and delivery of residential and mixed-use projects, from concept through planning, technical design, and construction. Daily responsibilities include preparing architectural drawings and documentation, coordinating with consultants and contractors, managing project schedules and budgets, and ensuring compliance with planning regulations and building standards. The role also includes overseeing integration of design solutions with project systems, attending site meetings, and communicating project status to internal stakeholders and external partners. The individual will work closely with development teams to align design outcomes with Willsflower’s strategic and commercial objectives.
Qualifications
Strong background in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience in residential and mixed-use projects.
Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
Understanding of Integration between design, engineering, and construction processes, including collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with Software Development principles as they relate to design tools, BIM, and project management platforms.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and project management tools.
Knowledge of UK planning regulations, building codes, and best practices in sustainable design.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead meetings and coordinate with external partners.
Relevant degree in Architecture or a related field; professional registration or eligibility for registration is an advantage.
