Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Design Engineer to support the design and engineering team in developing mechanical systems, equipment, and components. The role involves preparing design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation under the guidance of senior engineers, while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
 Assist senior engineers in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
 Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.).
 Perform basic design calculations and engineering checks as per applicable codes and standards.
 Develop and maintain engineering documents such as GA drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and technical datasheets.
 Review and revise drawings based on internal reviews, client comments, and site feedback.
 Coordinate with drafting, production, procurement, and quality teams for design clarifications.
 Support manufacturing and site teams by resolving design-related queries.
 Ensure adherence to company engineering practices, safety norms, and quality standards. Qualifications:  Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
 0–3 years of experience in design engineering (freshers with strong fundamentals may apply).
 Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
 Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
 Knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards (ASME, IS, ISO, etc.) is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Good attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
 Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Preferred Experience (Optional):
 Exposure to pressure vessels, piping systems, valves, skids, or industrial equipment..
