Job Description
Ashoka is looking for senior-level professionals in Communications, Marketing and Branding and Digital Media who can provide our staff and Fellows with professional consults and project based engagement. We are creating an elite team of 10-15 members from different world regions (to reflect cultural contexts and language) in this field and in nine others of similarly high-value skillsets. We are calling these members Professional Support Partners (PSPs) rather than "volunteers" to reflect the expertise and commitment to impact they will bring to our global community.
As an Ashoka Support Partner your expertise will be promoted to staff and Fellows over the course of two to three months. If there is a need that meets your interests and availability, an introduction will be made so that you can learn more details about the support partnership and ways that you can contribute. Until that time your name and contact details will be held confidentially to protect your privacy.
The goal of this initiative is to remove many of the barriers that prevent staff and our mission driven Fellows from recruiting the support that they need. As Steve Jobs once said upon introducing the iMac, "People don't know what they want until you show it to them." By showing them exceptional professionals who are willing and available to help we aim to jump start a wealth of program support that will enhance and propel programs and social impact around the world. At least six years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Content development, and related work.
One business and one personal reference
English fluency and fluency in the predominant language of your region.
Familiarity / Experience With
Core content and design tools for briefs, reports, and decks.
Presentation and survey tools for audience and employee feedback.
CRM marketing platforms for campaigns, segmentation, and automation.
Marketing automation/CRM and Salesforce knowledge to manage contacts, track touch points, and connect campaigns to outcomes.
Internal comms platforms for segmented internal newsletters and announcements.
Social, web, and PR Social media management experience for content, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting across platforms.
CMS to update site content, landing pages, and basic blog publishing.
PR and media tools for media lists, monitoring, and press distribution
Analytics and data tools, web and campaign analytics to read performance and build dashboards.
Comfortable with data handling and spreadsheets for tracking and analysis.
Collaboration, project management, and AI collaboration and project tools for managing campaigns.
AI‑assisted tools for using AI in copy, design, and analytics
